New Bike Room

Tearing down the old basement workshop so that I can finish it, and also tearing down the bike room.  I've moved the bikes themselves out into the basement landing room show here (still a big mess)

So that left enough room to redo the bike room as storage and bike tools.  I wanted to separate it from the bathroom on the other side, so I slapped up some scrap drywall.  Don't ever plan on finishing it, so the ridiculously bad drywall job is just fine.  This gives me a lot more storage space, which I'll need as the old storage workshop will be finished into a usable room.

Ugly Float and Tape

Getting started on the float and tape job on the upstairs half bath.  Pretty ugly so far. This is just the first coat, which is really intended to just get the tape down.  Looks ugly, but it's actually not bad.  Won't know for sure how it will look till the last coat.  Plan is to do a texture-free level 5 finish.  Not sure if I'll be able to pull it off or not, worst case if it doesn't pan out I can just throw some texture up.

Back Wall Done

Finally 100% done with the back wall of the house.  Windows installed, trim done, and paint. The windows will probably get pretty messy until I have time to install the edging and river rock along the edge, but that will come later.

Bathroom Waterproofing

Waterproofing the shower.  1 primer coat, 5 coats on the walls, 7 on the pan.  Tested and approved by the inspector.  Next is upper pan and then tile.
