Stair Treads

First prototype stair tread complete.  Ripped one piece of flooring and glued it to the bottom of another The ripped the face to make it even, 1/8" router on the edged, sanded, some filler for minor gaps, and here is the end result.

First Kitchen Bar

Got the first walnut bar done.  Could have done a better job joining the two pieces, but it's ok.  I'll do a better job on the main bar on the other side.

Stairwell Window

Doesn't look like much, but I was finally able to trim the stairwell window.  I've been looking at this rough window for so long I'm glad to finally see is looking decent.  Also have all of the backboard mounted and ready for the stone veneer, though it will be a while before I can do that.

New Living Room Furniture

The sectional was pretty, but pretty big and not super comfortable, so I found a replacement set.  $250 for the whole set.  The fabric is unusual, but very comfortable.  I'd plan to recover it at some point, the frames are more what I was interested in.  The chair is actually super comfortable.

Stairwell

Building the final stairwell.  This will provide a good chance to test my stair tread ideas. Start, removed the landing planks.  Landing complete and first tread.  One day of work, ran out of motivation and subfloor plywood at the same time.

Stairwell Started

So that I can use the rest of the flooring I have, and move it out of the house, I need to finish the stairwell next.  The first step was installing the backer board on the outside wall.  It's all mortared in with concrete screws embedded in it. The next step will be to remove the temporary treads and install subflooring treads, after that I can build the surface treads using the white oak flooring.
