Almost Done

Got the theater wall wood finished, and all of the cables run internally. All that is left is the top trim, the ceiling panels for the lights, and some trim items.

Theater Wall Update

More progress on the theater wall. Wood is up, still needs sanding and a cover coat.

Theater Accent Wall

Decided I wanted to finish the theater room completely except for the carpet, which will happen much later.  So I'm in the process of building the accent wall. I'm also putting in tubing to hide all the wires.  This image shows the wood that will eventually cover it, and the tubing installed.

Stereo Rack

Small project, built a stereo rack to match the speakers I built.  Ran out of supports for the bottom so I need to order a few more.

Little Stuff

Short days and holidays mean not much happening.  Been doing lots of other stuff, and lots of little projects.  I did have to move one sofa upstairs and one downstairs.  Friends were busy so I decided to tackle it myself. Went easier than expected without any damage.  Then put the other sofa downstairs. Should have some house updates soon.

Basement Ceiling

Got all of the basement ceiling pieces in place.  This will get painted the dark olive green.  It will then either receive the "fake beam" treatment, danish slats, or a dark hardwood.  Haven't decided which yet.

Basement Lighting and Ceiling

Found a better projector LED bulb for the basement, that gives more of the layered look of a halogen bulb.  Replaced all of the recessed bulbs with these.  I'm also starting on getting the rest of the basement ceiling in.  This picture shows one panel in place.  Getting the beams leveled takes a long time.  Of course everything is a big mess while it's in progress.  This shows a couple of them in place in the hallway.  These will be painted the dark green color to match the rest of the basement ceiling, and eventually have fascia beams over them. Also got a good picture of the house from a different angle that shows the fall colors really well.  Most of the leaves have fallen, but the color is still there.
