Reliable Old Wagon

The beater c320 wagon keeps proving its usefulness.

First Cabinets

Butcher block is temporary, and cut over sized.  When done the edges will line up.  But these are the first cabinets installed in the kitchen.  After this I do the laundry room and the half bath cabinets.  May need to install the tile before doing the half bath, we'll see. These needed and extra high base to clear the HVAC intake.  I have the old grille there temporarily just to over the hole.  I'll get a better one later after the tile is in and I can do the kick panel covers.

Drywall and Ceiling Getting Done

Not quite 100% but lots of progress

Getting the Drywall Done

Scaffolding installed in the stairwell, and starting to hang the last of the drywall.  Hopefully I can start mudding it in the next few days.

Laundry Room

Was sick on Friday, but recovered quickly and was able to do the final sanding, primer, and first coat of paint. Here I have my cheap-o washer dryer connected.  You can see how the false wall hides all of the connections here.  I'll probably treat myself to a new washer/dryer when I'm done.

Bamboo

Finally got the black bamboo I've been meaning to plant for a while. When it's fully grown it will look like this: Of course that picture also reminds me I need to deal with the touch up paint behind it.  Used a custom color and then lost the can of paint somewhere, so I need to find a way to match what I have.

Upper Retaining Wall

Finally finished the upper retaining wall.  Just some minor hardscape work left to do.  Then some planting, cleanup, and sprinkler system. This picture show how much flat area was gained with the new retaining wall
