Back Yard Lighting

While the back yard is still a bit of a mess, I have put in a few landscape lights to get the ball rolling.  Here is a dusk shot showing the direction I'm going:
I'll leave the back yard natural, but clean up the deadfall, repair the landscape timbers, and clean up.  However having a back yard that is not only enclosed, but very natural looking and where I can't see the homes behind me is ideal.

Bathroom Waterproofing

Waterproofing the shower.  1 primer coat, 5 coats on the walls, 7 on the pan.  Tested and approved by the inspector.  Next is upper pan and then tile.

Harry Potter Hole

Harry Potter Hole, as my friends started calling it, has had its internal trim installed, and I've put paint on the shelving below it.  This will look good once the flooring is installed.

Ugly Float and Tape

Getting started on the float and tape job on the upstairs half bath.  Pretty ugly so far. This is just the first coat, which is really intended to just get the tape down.  Looks ugly, but it's actually not bad.  Won't know for sure how it will look till the last coat.  Plan is to do a texture-free level 5 finish.  Not sure if I'll be able to pull it off or not, worst case if it doesn't pan out I can just throw some texture up.
