Siding Started

Man, this stuff takes a loooong time to stain, but the results look very nice.  Here I've started the first round of siding.
I will probably do this over the coming 2 weeks, staining some on one night, and installing is 1-2 days later.  It seems to take about 24 hours for the stain to fully dry.  Looks great though.

Here is a better shot where I've stacked a few of the excess pieces on top so you can see more of what the wood will look like.

Bathroom Waterproofing

Waterproofing the shower.  1 primer coat, 5 coats on the walls, 7 on the pan.  Tested and approved by the inspector.  Next is upper pan and then tile.

Harry Potter Hole

Harry Potter Hole, as my friends started calling it, has had its internal trim installed, and I've put paint on the shelving below it.  This will look good once the flooring is installed.

Ugly Float and Tape

Getting started on the float and tape job on the upstairs half bath.  Pretty ugly so far. This is just the first coat, which is really intended to just get the tape down.  Looks ugly, but it's actually not bad.  Won't know for sure how it will look till the last coat.  Plan is to do a texture-free level 5 finish.  Not sure if I'll be able to pull it off or not, worst case if it doesn't pan out I can just throw some texture up.
