No More Stump

My brother-in-law went to town on the stump in the back yard.  Now at least it isn't obstructing the view anymore.  It will take a while not only to split the removed part, but later I'll rent a stump grinder so that the entire center piece there can be removed about 6" below grade.  I'll then temporarily concrete over it so that the patio is more usable.  Eventually the whole patio will need to be redone though.

Ugly Float and Tape

Getting started on the float and tape job on the upstairs half bath.  Pretty ugly so far. This is just the first coat, which is really intended to just get the tape down.  Looks ugly, but it's actually not bad.  Won't know for sure how it will look till the last coat.  Plan is to do a texture-free level 5 finish.  Not sure if I'll be able to pull it off or not, worst case if it doesn't pan out I can just throw some texture up.
Figuring out a plan for the sunken area, cleared it all out.  Will likely need to deal with the chimney first.

Bathroom Waterproofing

Waterproofing the shower.  1 primer coat, 5 coats on the walls, 7 on the pan.  Tested and approved by the inspector.  Next is upper pan and then tile.
