Landscaping Update

Cleaned up the side of the entryway.  I popped the cap off that pipe that was sticking up and confirmed the smell of diesel, so it was a vent pipe for the oil tank, so I cut it off.  I then pulled the dirt away from the foundation a little and painted the concrete a shade just a bit darker than the main siding.  I then filled it with river rock.  Here is the result.  Finally I have a decent looking entryway.  That vent pipe was really, really ugly.

Accent Paint

Here the paint is about 1/2 done, so with one coat it's a little splotchy on the wall, but gives a good feel for the color.

Harry Potter Hole

Harry Potter Hole, as my friends started calling it, has had its internal trim installed, and I've put paint on the shelving below it.  This will look good once the flooring is installed.

Listening Room Paint

First coat of paint on in the basement listening room.  Shows the potential, but it will definitely need a 2nd coat: Electronics room too: Next comes trim and covering the ceiling. A pretty big improvement considering it looked like this when I moved in: And until recently it looked like this:
