Fireplace

Finally have a decent, usable fireplace.  The wood burning stove was removed a while ago, and I finally got around to ordering the parts I needed.  I also got up in there and removed all the crud that was left over.  When they installed the wood burner they just put a bit of flashing up there, and a lot of junk had accumulated behind it.  Even found what was left of the old damper.
I still need to install a top mount damper, as it's pretty much just open right now, but I'll do that in the next few days.

Paint

Had to get a coat of paint on before the rains hit.  Not completely sold on the blue trim, may due a dark brown or grey there instead, but a huge improvement over what it was.  Right now I only have one coat on, and haven't done the edging right, so it's a rough paint job, but it will tide the house over until I get a patch of good weather and can finish the job.

Lighting

Here is a good shot that shows the exterior night time lighting.  Other than the tall, thin window, which is covered with plywood right now, this show some of the lighting coming out of the new clerestory windows.  They are covered with clear-ish plastic, so the light shines through nicely.

Ugly Float and Tape

Getting started on the float and tape job on the upstairs half bath.  Pretty ugly so far. This is just the first coat, which is really intended to just get the tape down.  Looks ugly, but it's actually not bad.  Won't know for sure how it will look till the last coat.  Plan is to do a texture-free level 5 finish.  Not sure if I'll be able to pull it off or not, worst case if it doesn't pan out I can just throw some texture up.
